Year 3 Trip to London Zoo

The children had a lovely if exhausting day at London Zoo last week. The trip was part of their work on how to look after your pet linked to the book ‘Sparky’ which they are studying this term. Highlights included seeing the otters, penguins and lions being fed.

Year 3 Matisse Assembly

The assembly that Matisse did on the Egyptians was fantastic; they wowed us with how many facts they knew about the period and their culture. We were amazed by Year 3’s costumes, they looked incredibly realistic. The way they presented was very well rehearsed and the whole assembly grabbed everyone’s attention! – Aisha and Duha

Children in Need

A very big thank you to everyone who dressed up in spots and donated to Children in Need. Through your generosity we have raised over £200 to help and support disadvantaged children all over the UK. The children loved playing ‘Splat the Teacher’ and our early years children enjoyed Pudsey face painting.

Artist Workshop

A group of Portuguese children had the opportunity of joining an illustration workshop with the Portuguese children’s book illustrator and author Yara Kono. The children really enjoyed the experience and they produced their own beautiful little books using stamps and collage.

Westminster Abbey visit for Year 3

Year 3 visited Westminster Abbey as part of their RE topic on Christianity. They learnt all about the historical significance of this amazing building and the symbolism used in Christianity.

Year 4 Trip to The Horniman Museum
