Graduation Ball

As year 6 prepare to move on to their new secondary schools, we celebrate their time at Henry Fawcett, at their graduation ball. boys and girls looked stunning in suits and party dresses. They all looked so grown up! The parents enjoyed the formal cermonony, and then the children partied the night away!  

Sports Day 2012

This year Henry Fawcett managed to beat the rain-clouds to hold our sports day last Thursday. Whilst the rain caused many schools to cancel their sports days, we were lucky to choose the one sunny day of the week! Would ‘Ju’ believe it!

Henry Fawcett school held a special Jubilee lunch to celebrate the Queen’s 60 year reign on the throne. The children sat outside on Union Jack rugs surround-ed by flag bunting. Olympic Torch at Henry Fawcett

The torch was brought to the school by Kevin Craig on 19th July 2012. He went round to each of the classrooms and the children loved holding the torch. It was such a special day and a great way to be a part of the 2012 Olympics.
