Nativity Play

On Wednesday, children from Reception, Nursery and Year 1 performed a wonderful Nativity Play. It was nice to see so many parents and carers there to watch the children singing, acting and narrating so well. We would like to thank all of the staff who worked so hard to make it a magical performance.

Winter Wonderland

Yesterday was Henry Fawcett’s annual Winter Wonderland event and the children were very lucky to have the chance to meet Father Christmas. They also enjoyed Christmassy face-painting, and preparing gingerbread men, which they had cooked and decorated themselves! Playground Update!

We are very excited that our sensory garden is almost finished! We hope that work on the ‘tangled log climber’ will begin next week. Thank you for bearing with us while the work is taking place.

Achievement Award

We are so proud of Nathan in Year 3 for receiving a Lambeth Achievement at the Queen Elizabeth Hall last Tuesday. It was in recognition of his academic success, and Miss Eckford and Miss Barrett were very happy to join Nathan’s parents at the ceremony where he was presented with a certificate and medal.

LegoClub Trip

Last Friday members of Henry Fawcett LEGO club and their parents and carers went to the amazing Brick2014 exhibition at the Excel Centre. Stage one of our new playground has begun, and the sensory garden is in process! The garden will include raised planters, ‘bug hotels’, storytime seating, benches, and mini beast environments.
